The font used for screens in any Science Gateway exhibition is Roboto (provided by Google)
Roboto has a dual nature. It has a mechanical skeleton and the forms are largely geometric. At the same time, the font features friendly and open curves. While some fonts distort their letterforms to force a rigid rhythm, Roboto doesn’t compromise, allowing letters to be settled into their natural width. This makes for a more natural reading rhythm more commonly found in humanist and serif types.

Choice of language
On an exhibition screen, visitors have a choice of five languages to interact with. At CERN, each language has its own colour, which is underlined on the bottom menu and in titles.

Screen Navigation
The menu to help you navigate is always located at the bottom on the horizontal screens and always located on the left of the vertical screens.
