Exhibitions
As the world’s largest laboratory, it is important for CERN to communicate the diverse range of cutting-edge research it releases.
One of CERN’s key missions is to train, educate and engage a number of different audiences on the work that is done here, in particle physics, engineering, IT, and other applications. CERN therefore hosts a variety of exhibitions. This includes permanent and temporary exhibitions onsite, as well as travelling exhibitions that communicate CERN’s science around the world. Soon, CERN will open Science Gateway, a new state-of-the-art education and outreach facility with the aim of communicating CERN’s impact and inspiring young people to aspire for STEM careers. Exhibitions, like any other outreach material associated with CERN, need to have consistent formats and branding matching CERN’s visual identity.
