The interior signage makes it easy for anyone to find their way around the various CERN buildings. It is based on fundamental design rules to be able to understand in the blink of an eye where you are without having to waste time.

One of these rules concerns the color codes put in place. When the background of a sign is white, it indicates that you are on your way to the desired location. Usually indicated with a directional arrow.

When the background of a sign is blue, it indicates that you have arrived at the desired destination.

The rules put in place are required to be respected to facilitate travel for everyone.
